Ahmed M (br) wrote: Mary Kom is based on the life of the Indian boxer "Mary Kom", despite that the film does a good job in its story, for the movie-goers who might have no idea who Mary Kom is. Also, Priyanka Chopra (who plays Mary Kom) has gave her best performance, without a doubt. Unfortunately the pacing and writing get the best of this movie in many occasions.

Charles S (de) wrote: Way better than I expected... Starts off a train wreck, but give it time....

Robert B (au) wrote: Great opening scene, great close, lousy rest of the movie. It might have made a good short film. It is a shame too because there are some great ideas in this movie. Maybe next time.

Scott M (es) wrote: With a less annoying director this would've been even better.

Matthew D (ag) wrote: Re-treads the same paths as Mask of the Phantasm, although it has learnt from its predecessor's mistakes in the detective element of the story, the atmosphere and tension are missing this time.

Matthew W (ca) wrote: The story of Robin Hood's daughter.

Matt W (fr) wrote: This film is not something that is to be viewed as entertaining, this film is for teaching. The "Black Identity" as Art and Entertainment is fully explored as it is exploited for gains. The stereotype that black people are only rich or poor gives an insight that further defines the actions taken in the film. Spike Lee and others may claim the film to be Satire but it is not; this film is a blunt instrument that forces the audience to see the exploitation of a "learnable identity". "blacker than you", "niggers is beautiful" "Timmi Hillnigger", "Da Bomb" and "The Mau Maus" fully develop Spike's film as he fully embraces the final quote "People pay for what they do, and still more for they have allowed themselves to become, and they pay for it by the lives they lead" (James Baldwin). Bravo Spike Lee

Tim B (ag) wrote: the whole zatoichi series is great. they are all a lot of fun, but the thing that really grabs my attention is the cinematography. for a series of basically brain candy movies, there are some amazingly artistic and beautiful shots.

Randy T (gb) wrote: Nice paring of legends Vincent Price and Roger Corman. Solid '60's Gothic horror.

Olli H (es) wrote: While delivering good performances & lots of laughs, "M*A*S*H" was an oddity of a film since it doesn't really have straight storyline, it's all just series of events in the times of Hawkeye Pierce (Donald Sutherland) & Trapper John McIntyre (Elliott Gould), the two ace surgeons in the Korean War.
