I think Ariel Winter pretty much steals the show by the end and makes this a well rounded fun family movie. Aside from a bit of polish on "Triple H's" acting skills, the movie starts a bit slower than I expected, but hold on til the end and I'm sure you'll get a few laughs and smiles from the whole family.

Ray D (fr) wrote: One of the more heartwarming films about reforming civil law that's out there, this film (apparently partly funded by Brosnan with profits from his Bond films) deals with the true case of a drunken layabout with three kids, who, after his wife leaves him, is horrified to discover that, according to the courts, that means he's not fit to have his children and they're to be raised in state-run orphanages. The bulk of the film details his arc as he turns his life around, cleans himself up, meets a lawyer who's been over in the US (Aidan Quinn) and is eager to take on the state, and struggles to be reunited with his children--especially his young daughter Evelyn. The poster gives away the ending, but the people involved in the film are talented enough to make you care about the journey.
