Giancarlo G (fr) wrote: What a waste! E insomma! Non si fa.
Jeffrey N (mx) wrote: Entirely too long, unworthy of the cast's talent and beyond stupid, "Your Highness" was greenlit for some reason and widely released while so many other much better films are relegated to the festival circuit. Heck, it even took convincing over many years to get the "Anchorman" sequel approved while this crap was fast-tracked. While it had its humorous moments, this film is an embarrassment to filmmaking. Hopefully the delay of "Mr. Machine" by pretty much the same main cast and crew is a sign that cooler heads prevailed.

It is filled with amazing actors who can show their talent even with such short individual screentime. The Bad Part:No real hero in this movie. While the bad guy's ways of doing things is really delicate and precise, everything basically ends up being toned down into coincidental rendesvouzs. Several parts was also predictable.

Jason M (ag) wrote: Possibly Paul Newman's best role. Superb and believable acting. Arguably the best prison film of all time aside from The Shawshank Redemption. George Kennedy has an Academy Award winning supporting role. Spoken by the Captain in this film, is one of the greatest lines, "What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week. Which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it. And I don't like it any more than you men."There is much Christian imagery and allegory in the film. Luke is linked to Luke of the Gospels, and is a Jesus-figure. Luke constantly goes against authority and is supported by his fellow inmates, similar to Jesus. This movie provides a template for The Shawshank Redemption. As a matter of fact, this film predates Stephen King writing the novella and I'm positive he "lifted" most of it from this story. It's pretty obvious.
Parker R (fr) wrote: It moves itself along at a brisk pace, and while lacking in the high quality storytelling department, this animated film has enough action-packed spunk to keep the younger audiences thrilled.
Atheer O (au) wrote: It's basically a movie which makes no sense and doesn't tie up into a coherent story (spoliler) because the viewer is only witnessing a dream world. The only real scenes are the first and final accident scenes.
