Bearded M (au) wrote: Wow, I had such high hopes for this movie, and although it was not as bad as some people say it is, it is really not all that good. I think the main problem is they made an action movie set in the west instead of making a western with some action in it, and then add in the supernatural stuff that is not accurate to the character and it just doesn't work. Also, although I don't think Josh Brolin did a terrible job, I think both Nathan Fillion and Thomas Jane, who were also up for the roles at one point, would have done a better job. Lastly, I think it is a sure sign that when Megan Fox is doing the best acting in the movie that something is not right, heck this movie even had Michael Fassbender, but he was mediocre in it too. It is just a real shame, this could have been great, but for the most part it comes off as a remake of Wild Wild West, which I think we can all agree, is never a good thing.2 Beards Out Of 5
Eric R (jp) wrote: A really fascinating documentary that takes a look into the underground world of horror. The film follows, J.T. petty, as he meets with these underground horror "filmmakers" and tries to understand the motivations and mental reasoning behind there fascination with extreme horror. As expected the film stats to investigate SNUFF films and it starts out rather interesting but it really becomes something totally different as they interview the director, Eric, of the S&Man series. The S&Man series shows a man, stalking women for days, and eventually following them and killing them. The film becomes incredibly crreepy as we start to question exactly how eric creates these films, leading to a climax that is pretty creepy, leaving you very intrigued. A low budget documentary that really leaves you in pretty speechless by the end.

Beth J (de) wrote: Really cute and good and not just because I'm a librarian and Kate Hepburn plays one in this movie. It's just a well done romantic comedy. The plot is very relevant to society today -- making life more efficient with technology but getting too caught up in it neglects the importance of the human element. I will likely watch this again and again.

La edicin en DVD adems merece la pena para tratarse de una pelcula menor...

Arseniy V (gb) wrote: I may be overestimating it a little bit (been a while since I've picked flicks using "best of" lists and the contrast is striking), but it's definitely some very funny and poignant stuff. If you haven't seen Devil's Advocate, starting with that one may also make for a fun pairing.
