Ash J (it) wrote: I can neither say I hated this film, nor can I say I enjoyed it. I just sort of witnessed it. The characters were very basic, Dafoe was true to his roots as he always is... Weird. But thats what endears him to me somehow. Anyways, just far too... uhh. I don't even have the words.

Bryan M (br) wrote: Poor Edith takes revenge on rich twin sister Margaret for stealing the man she once loved. After killing her sister, Edith takes on the unexpectedly dificult task of assuming her sister's identity. This is the kind of entertaining thriller that would seem silly in the wrong hands, but is emmensely worthwhile with Bette Davis playing a dual role. Karl Malden is dependably solid as a policeman who loved Edith, while Peter Lawford is amusing in a smaller role as a devious playboy.
Scott S (kr) wrote: The Teahouse of the August Moon (1956) -- [6.0] -- Glenn Ford is tasked with enforcing democracy on a small Okinawan village but slowly begins to embrace the villagers' hedonistic lifestyle in this off-kilter comedy costarring Eddie Albert and Henry Morgan. It's a sweet and exuberant film, though Marlon Brando's performance as an Okinawan interpreter earns some notoriety. My favorite scene finds Ford being forcibly disrobed by a geisha girl (Machiko Kyo from "Rashomon") while on the phone with his superior officer.

Callum M (mx) wrote: This film will always be remembered as Shakur's last film as he was killed months before its release. With his final performance Tupac yet again shows what talent he had and what could have been. The story revolves around two cops (Shakur & Belushi) who are trying to cover up a murder after they kill an undercover police officer. Dennis Quaid is also on deck. A good story that maybe runs a little longer than it should.
