Rubber Johnny

Rubber Johnny is a six-minute experimental short film and music video directed by Chris Cunningham in 2005, using music composed by Aphex Twin. The name Rubber Johnny is drawn from a British slang for "condom" as well as a description of the main character, which explains the title sequence.

An experimental music video about a wheelchair-bound boy and morphs and moves to an Aphex Twin song. The experience gets weirder when he takes cocaine and everything gets out of control. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

(us) wrote: Laughing at wannabe terrorists, that's a brilliant idea ! The acting is very good and the characters are a lot of fun, you laugh just looking at their confused or angry faces. And when they start speaking with their accent and english slang (or even rap !) that's even funnier than Sacha Baron Cohen's Ali G. I laughed throughout the entire movie, but I whish it was even more hilarious. It's a good and original comedy still. Eventhough I'm not a huge fan of british humor, some of their comedies are definitely worth checking.

Tina A (jp) wrote: I hope this movie ruins Julianne Moore's career, that is how disgusted I am by the fact that this movie was even made. How do you say yes to such an awful role?

Larry W (kr) wrote: This is how much I like John Sayles: I will willingly watch--twice--what pretty much boils down to an essay on the history of Florida real estate. The moral: don't try to boil down a John Sayles movie.

Adam R (fr) wrote: A sweet movie of redemption. After a near fatal attack a man is able to reconnect with his family. Harrison Ford is excellent in the lead role. (First and only viewing - 6/13/2016)

Travis B (jp) wrote: Great concept that was well acted all around. It had me wishing that director stuck to one tone throughout. It had the potential to be something greater than it was.

Joetaeb D (mx) wrote: Even with the excellent talent and glimmer of a thoughtful idea, This films suffers mightily from a non existent tone and surprisingly incompetent direction in a movie that seems easy to make.

Joshua W (jp) wrote: rather depressing all around.. however really well acted by all parties

Karsh D (au) wrote: Tiresome comedy, of sorts, where a piano prodigy get caught up with his mothers drug pushers and trying to get his mum into rehab. Einsberg seems to put no real effort into his role which does not help with the general mood and pace of the film.
