Zack B (us) wrote: I have yet to see all of Araki's works before this film, but I think, from what I have seen, Nowhere marked the turning point from a hasty film-student style to a more mature style that isn't bogged down by fancy editing or a domineering soundtrack. There are still problems here though, namely that Araki doesn't seem to be telling us anything important or even all that interesting with his characters. Still, this film shows how Araki was discovering the style that would later make his film Mysterious Skin such a haunting masterpiece.
Al M (br) wrote: A mostly ho-hum supernatural slasher film in which a bunch of fraternity douchebags get their just deserts from a hippie ghost. The death scenes are only mediocre, and the whole film seems somewhat lacking even according to slasher movie standards.

Mary A (ca) wrote: loved this movie -- Johnny Depp's Tonto is a great character. Butch Cavendish is a despicable villan. The love triangle is meh, but the rest of the movie is awesome. The story from the point of view of an aged Tonto is reminiscent of Little Big Man.
Kyle M (jp) wrote: Benefits from its charismatic love triangle formed by the appealing trio bringing in comical energy (and action) to overshadow the romantic aspect in this nicely-formed overall comedy, with little action and romance provided. (B+)(Full review TBD)
