Stephen M (es) wrote: Wow.. I was bored so I figured I checked this out... & somehow I became even more bored than when I started out. This movie had a potential of being something adventurous, suspenseful, & full of character growth of accomplishment... instead it was shoddy writing, poor directing, dry annoying acting, some incredibly dumb scenarios & unbelievable situations. This film was a failure & a huge waste.

I was most disturbed by parents staying in this crazy cult place and choosing to let their kids die. But the ATF and FBI did some serious bad things there, too.

Mitchell Z (au) wrote: One of the best sports movies of all time, Field of Dreams is a story about what matters, and its a movie that just keeps on delivering. Costner gives a convincing performance, and the supporting cast is wonderful too. What you get is an emotional ride that helps you rediscover what makes the game of baseball, and Ray's journey is a heartfelt one.

Allan C (fr) wrote: Silly and derivative, but a well made bit of sci-fi/action pulp. With Martin Campbell (Goldeneye, Edge of Darkness, Casino Royale) directing, you know the action will be good and there's also a surprisingly strong cast that features Ray Liotta, Lance Henriksen, Stuart Wilson, Michael Lerner, Ernie Hudson, Kevin J. O'Connor and a number of other familiar faces.
