Great camera work and shot composition help advance the atmosphere, while at the same time making the viewer feel like a participant in the film. There is constant comedy, however, and I was laughing often. However, unlike some horror which blends in comedic elements, this one doesn't let the laughs dampen the tone. There are flaws--a few which strain the credibility. But for most viewers this shouldn't be a horrible stumbling-block in enjoying the film.
