Brandon S (it) wrote: Minus a few speed bumps, this is comedy gold. Critics can have their opinions, this is a comedy for fans of situational comedy that is just funny without pandering. Is it goofy? Yep. Is it stupid? Oh, yeah. Does that make it a bad movie? Not at all.
Tom D (br) wrote: This is a very well made action and drama film. The script is good, it has many detailed characters that are not one dimensional. Jet Li is great in the lead role, he is excellent and both the fight and dramatic scenes. I definitely recommend this film.

Kyle M (es) wrote: There's a nice comprising mixture of sports and romance with sporadic comedy to seemingly balance the film's level, and those genres were well-represented by its trio cast - Kevin Costner, Susan Sarandon, and Tim Robbins - while avoiding any act of using a typical formula of clichs since it was more on spirituality between romance improving an individual in sports. A well-developed premise from that kind of working form, but there's one typicality in the romance genre's usage that's worth skipping if there's nothing worth hearing from what was written in those moments. Overall, it's a decent film in both genres. (B)(Full review coming soon - with better wording probably)
