Andrey B (de) wrote: Not without huge flaws, at times even that make you wince, but cinematography and incredible Wood's perfomance keep you busy and tense for the entire movie.
Joshua L (gb) wrote: I like the animation, but this is so plot-heavy and confusing. I have a feeling this 1 movie would work better as series.
Bill B (ca) wrote: Holy shit, this one goes a long way to prove the fact that a good title doesn't make a good film, or even an interesting one. This plays like someone watched the Tarantino/Rodriguez GRINDHOUSE film and just ran with that, to the point that it even feels like it lifts musical cues from that very film.Pass, unless you're just completely in love with the concept of the sleazy grindhouse aesthetic, because there's not a lot here worth slogging through.
JT M (ca) wrote: It's such a delight to see Octavia Spencer in movies no matter how small the role she plays, yet, her smile brightens the film. But, this movie is not about Ms. Spencer's character, it's about a collection of various small townfolk and it takes the length of the movie to describe that they are all related/interconnected before ending with one breaking out of their self-imposed rut - Chris Pine's Rhett Ryan is the sole breaker-outer. I felt the movie started like many different trains screaming towards another and converging when Brent Briscoe's character, Donny, takes a young boy on a fishing trip without permission. Thereafter everything is tied up nicely and how these people's lives are intertwined. It had a slow start but once all the characters were explained, the trained started rolling.

Rebecca P (ru) wrote: Very funny physical humor and use of disaster. A widower with three kids is in way over his head. His son runs away the same night that Chincia (Loren) runs away from her controlling father. They become friends and the three children hire her to be their maid/ nanny. The problem is Chincia doesn't know how to do anything practical. The community rejects Chincia because she is foreign, even though she is fabulously gorgeous, cultured, and wealthy. I love how she threw a drink in a guy's face. A series of accidents throws Loren and Grant together. When they fall in love, the children are initially very upset because they loved her first. In the end, they become a family.
Pan C (nl) wrote: Decent horror flick. Has a brave go at having a plot, which doesn't work out completely, but if anything it errs on the side of being convoluted rather than not enough. The mood is set nicely, and this makes the scenes come alive. Not the masterpiece of masterpieces, but go in expecting an okay B-movie, and be entertained.
Nathaniel M (ag) wrote: Mulholland Drive perfects the vision, but Lost Highway has Lynch's signature vibe. The ending is among Lynch's weakest, but it is in no way fatal.
Brian C (ca) wrote: Wonderful fun.Witchboard has a person using a ouija board on her own and gets taken over by an evil spirit. The story is very good, the deaths are well done and even though the acting is a bit off at times, it is thoroughly enjoyable.
