Sandy J (it) wrote: This would have been hilarious, if it weren't so freakin' tragic.

Bryan W (it) wrote: Denise Crosby continues to look for ways to make up for walking off the set of 'The Next Generation', arguably the worst move of her career, and doesn't do a great job in this documentary. As usual, there are a wealth of obsessed fans who needlessly ponder the dichotomy of 'Trekkies' and 'Trekkers', and in this one they go so far as to deride their counterparts in fandom. Moments like this really bring down what should be a light and entertaining 'documentary' that really functions more like a promotional video.

Kyle E (jp) wrote: My favourite John Waters movie so far! This is one of those horror movies that are so outrageous they're hilarious, or in other words a black comedy (which is slightly more scary than funny). I highly recommend this movie.

Tyler S (gb) wrote: A classic war comedy that was an early Ramis Murray combination. John Candy was here also and the trio was young and provided awesome laughs. The circumstances are funny and the movie offered the framework in what would be great careers for all involved.

Greg J (us) wrote: Better than expected. The #-D was a little hard to get used to, but has some funny moments.

John K (ca) wrote: This one starts off innocuously enough, like an old fable of sorts, but then it spirals into a goofy story about forbidden love, silver bullets made of crucifixes, and too much wine. The great Oliver Reed gives his all in his performance as Leon Corledo, but the script is hopelessly shallow and the wolf makeup is god awful. The actual wolf scenes consist of a stuntman jumping from rooftop to rooftop on set. Sure the sets are ambitious, the costumes are probably period appropriate, and the dialogue is authentic. But ultimately, Hammer was phoning this one in. It's a tired exercise in the werewolf mythology and the end of the film comes with as little impact as possible.
