(ca) wrote: Just about everything is unforgivably awful in this unoriginal zombie sequel, an enormous wreck with a terrible direction, stupid characters, lame dialogue and no imagination - and it feels and tastes like a video game, only it is the director, not us, who gets to play and have fun.

(de) wrote: A pretty decent who-dun-it comedy, with the emphasis on comedy. Lots of good little one-liners, and throw-away jokes. Deplorable characters from the exceptional ensemble cast, and funny pop culture references (Yugo cars, the Wheel of Fortune home game). This was one of the few VHS tapes worth watching at my Dad's house when I was growing up, and I'm glad I bought the DVD.Watched at home on DVD, June 2, 2015.

(ag) wrote: Wow, the critics and audience sure disagree on this one. I'm with the audience on this one. Yeah, maybe I simply find Denzel super cool when he's this type of character and it makes me overlook any deficiencies that the movie has otherwise. When Denzel goes into "everyone will pay mode", it's thrilling. The reason it isn't rated higher than it is, is because of the acting of the little girl's parents. Not good, but luckily they aren't in the movie very much. I just never get tired of Denzel as a badass. Simple as that. I don't see how anyone could. Just like I don't get tired of Al Green singing love songs.
