A mean, loud-mouthed town bully is talking on the phone one night during a lightning storm when, in a freak occurrence, a bolt of lightning strikes a telephone pole, travels down the phone wires and hits him. He is declared clinically dead, but miraculously recovers shortly thereafter--with a completely new personality and, he claims, the ability to communicate with the dead.

Eric B (ca) wrote: Very sick dark comedy! I Like...good but not great...but for a canadian movie not bad...with twisted humor

Andrea F (nl) wrote: Disturbing. Especially the mini horse.

Isabella C (us) wrote: The bestest funny movie ever!

Hillary M (de) wrote: Loved it. I think a lot of people that don't like this movie just don't get it.

Adam R (au) wrote: Close to being one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It's a total joke. (First and only full viewing - 6/26/2015)

Jeffrey C (us) wrote: The story has given the most thrilling kind of relationship between the son and father: a peculiar kind of love, that a love grew out of hate, and then the affection overwhelmed the loathing. Measured and gripping.

David T (it) wrote: I'm a child of the 90's so this one brings me back. I remember loading Doom 2 Hell on Earth onto our computer and getting really into it. This movie here is an ode to virtual reality gaming, and it has generation x actor Edward Furlong as the main character which is only fitting. I have the soundtrack on CD, which features great 90's alternative artists like the Butthole Surfers, White Zombie, TAD and others.

Brett C (it) wrote: Review In A Nutshell:The film visually looks great in that self-indulgent way, but it fails to have me care even the slightest for its story or the ideas it projects.

Steve S (it) wrote: *** (out of four) While many critics find this to be a revelation, I am not quite that positive. I will admit that it is entertaining and features a host of sceen chewing actress deliovering salty one-liners back and forth. A boarding house in New York City is filled with a bunch of tennants who hope to become actresses. The likes of Katherine Hepburn, Ginger Rogers, Lucille Ball, Eve Arden, and the Oscar nominated Andrea Leeds battle it out for the best moments. The lines come fast and furious, maybe a bit too fast and calculated. Still it is fun.

Tim S (jp) wrote: This film starts out fairly serious and gets more and more silly as it goes along. For me, it climaxed at the fireworks scene (which actually made me laugh out loud) and very quickly went downhill after that. But it was enjoyable enough for one viewing. That being said... there is no desire to see it a second time.
