Becky B (fr) wrote: Always thought this was Hilary's worst film. I saw it in theatres and got out on dvd once or twice( for some reason). Too much superficial junk and some slight sexuality which was disappointing (mostly from Hilary's sister in the film though). I used to be crazy about Hilary, so I had to watch it. The only films I weren't ever interested in watching with her in them were the cheaper by the dozen ones, as they looked ridiculous and I HATE Steve Martin. The acting was shoddy and Hilary was so unlikable...urgh

Well waiting in a dinner to meet with his girlfriend/Scott's sister his is mistaken by a group of ex-CIA Officers, who have stolen an experimental chemical weapon, for a government agent tracking them. Dean is injected with the drug, EX, in the hopes that he will let the renegades know what the government knows about their plans to sell EX on the black market. Dean has 6 hours to find the antidote before EX fry's his brain, something made difficult by EX's other effect, making him suseptable to any suggestion... Damn, Wesley Snipes must be hard up for cash. Deceint enoough premis for an action movie but the action lacks heart or energy. Everyone puts in the bear minimium to collect their pay check and the director refuses to use suseptability to suggestion to add any humor, slapstick or dark, to the preceedings thus failing to do a damn thing to elevate this beyond the lifeless dud it is. Unless its on TV and you have nothing else to do, give this one a pass.

Michael H (es) wrote: Gigi is a great entertaining musical film that reaches for the stars. A film about love and other sorts of gay things. It follows Gigi who is a young woman that is well mannered. There are lots of musical numbers that have very little choreography but are sung kind of well. The cast is good. There is plenty of things to like about Gigi such as the lead actress. Its wonderful.90/100 A-
