(es) wrote: Well, let's see, first, if your son is getting released from jail (prison, or whatever it was, really wasn't clear), where he was serving out a sentence for drugs (possession, use, or sale really wasn't clear), the first thing you, as the boy's father, does ***NOT*** do is take him downtown for a beer! DUH!Despite the awards you will see on this, probably released straight to, DVD when it sits on the shelf, just keep on a'walkin! There is so much wrong with this DVD. From mending a fence that comes from and goes to nowhere to an obviously developmentally-challenged boy who should not have been in jail (or whatever) in the first place (although knowing the mentality of some of the people in Colorado might explain why they treat everyone like criminals), to why on earth is the boy carrying a cell phone (note the phone in the holster on his belt--if you are bored enough to watch this), in the middle of nowhere and he still has to use the phone that he didn't use when he has his first "accident" to call his parole officer.Oh, I give up. Why on earth am I trying to review this crap anyway?!! Sometimes people's lives are failures despite all they try to do and this poor man and his son prove it as does the failure of this DVD. Skip it!
(jp) wrote: It's a shame Olivia Coleman and Robert Webb have such a horrible memory of this film and how they were treated as it ruins my opinion that this is a pretty good film. I especially like Martin Freeman and Jessica Hynes. Very sweet couple and good improvising!
(jp) wrote: Cute story. But once the female actor appears... you know it's not really a documentary. They gave it away too easily...

(br) wrote: This wasn't a fantastic horror movie, but I gotta say I was intrigued. The story about the influence of ancient evil on the young girl and all the weird things that happened to everyone was a new and different take on possession. That was mainly what I liked about it. But I felt there could have been more that happened to the characters, and some better death scenes. Overall it's pretty good, and if you like Fulci's films, you should see this one.
(fr) wrote: This movie (and book) had a life-changing effect on my young and encouragable mind. It forever changed the way I think about life in general, as well as my view of the world and the people in it. Thank you Kurt Vonnegut!
(es) wrote: With a sexy and flamboyant title like this it's staggering how bad this is. Most of the jokes fall so flat it's ridiculous. At least Vincent Price is having fun.
(ca) wrote: One word - Brilliant. The action in this movie is amazing (especially Nick Frost and Simon Pegg) and the suspense and comedy is more than amazing. Edgar Wright really showed his talent with this movie.
