Bengel W (de) wrote: Interesting dynamic with the brothers bickering, this comes across well as the actors are perfectly matched for this screenplay. Photography is clear and sharp giving a full screen of action and emotion. Script is full of jest and depth giving a solid rounding to the story. Action in the final scenes is exciting considering that it is a train in a tunnel, but not believable. Nibbles: Croissant.
Adam S (us) wrote: Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold is the sequel to 1985s King Solomon's Mines. Both films were shot back to back, this one being released two years after the first. Theres not much to say, except that this one is even worse than the first. It's just as big of an Indiana Jones rip-off with some H. Rider Haggard thrown in (doesn't do either justice). The soundtrack is the same, the acting is just as bad from everyone including the newly added James Earl Jones. Although all around pretty terrible, like the first, under the right circumstances you can still have a lot of fun watching this one. Don't expect much else besides somes laughs though.

Sylvester K (es) wrote: Hilarious black comedy starring Cary Grant, based on the Broadway stage play of the same name. Mortimer is a successful man about to be married, he went home to visit his insane family and discovered his aunties are serial killers. A hide and seek ensures as Cary tried to prevent people from finding out about the murders even though everyone seemed oblivious to the situation. It's got excellent humour and performance thanks to Cary Grant. Though it may seem sligthly far fetched in the modern context, but lovers of classic Hollywood would not want to miss this masterpiece.
