Rob S (br) wrote: Was this supposed to be a Christmas type movie? "It's A Wonderful Life" you've got nothing to worry about! Vince Vaughan's improvisation was about the only thing I liked. The families were horendous despite having some very big names involved. Too much silly, not enough anything else. Quite disappointing.

Kathleen W (mx) wrote: What a wild ride. You think you're getting into a fun rom com but you're not. Life is dark and difficult. Maybe the film was trying to challenge the idea the finding a man is what will make you happy, but it only subverted is as far as saying that happiness, when found, will finally help you attract a man. Some really beautiful locations and a really nice sense of place.

Billie P (ca) wrote: Halloween II continues the story of the original '78 film. In this film, we find out that Michael Myers is particularly after Laurie Strode and this is because of a deep family secret. His whole mission for coming back to Haddonfield, Illinois is, we discover, to get Laurie. The main setting for the film is a hospital, where we see sexually charged nurses and orderlies neglecting their duties and Dr Loomis, Myers' former therapist, hopping on scene to play hero. Laurie for her part faces more challenges than the first film, only this time, she is learning to get tougher. Still, by the end she is still a Scream Queen, horror movies' version of a damsel in distress.

Kevin T (ag) wrote: The acting wasn't terrible. The movie was very dissapointing. It started out great in the beginning, but it went flat immediatly when the actual story started to go off. There is no suspense at all. I started watching the movie to the point when Lucetta was trying to seduce Jack. I tuned out and tuned back into the movie at the end and I could still follow the plot. I didn't have to watch the movie to know what happened. There are other movies which display such a story way better than 'Stone'.

Allan C (ca) wrote: A decent B-film. Somewhat entertaining, amusing, ecetera. The actors were decent, the script needed work. Despite what you might think, it was not a flesh or nudey film.

Brandon W (nl) wrote: When I first watched Catfish, it was because I saw Paranormal Activity 3, which I wanted to see the directors's previous film, and it was the best documentary film that I've seen. I watched the tv show for a long time, and I feel like I'll leave the show at rest, and decide to end it with a bang by watching the documentary again, where it all started. Catfish may be one of the best documentaries that I've seen, and it's definitely one of the most interesting ones. The movie gets you settled on who the main character is, and his backstory which make you understand of why he's doing this, and you want him to succeed on it. The whole mystery plot of it is really investing to watch, and when it keeps going and going, I was starting to feel unsettled. There were some funny moments in it, and you learn a bit about Megan that you understand why Nev likes her and wants to visit her. Since I watched this before and the show, I knew what the big reveal was, but I forgot there were other twists in it that got me surprised again. The one thing that I think dos better here than the show, is the emotional parts. It's not the show's fault for it, it does everything it can for an one hour show, it's just the documentary movie spends more time on it, and you understand why that person did it. You just sorry for that person, and it makes you happy when it comes to a bittersweet ending. Catfish is a terrific documentary that makes you glad that Nev Schulman got his own show, and Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost are directing movies like Paranormal Activity 3 and other stuff.

J M (fr) wrote: It may be a fictional account of the early childhood of Jesus but the characters based on actual biblical people seem accurate to what we read in the bible. Was encouraging and is a great reminder of our Saviour who came to earth to sacrifice Himself for our sins. Enjoyed the movie.
