Paul E (ag) wrote: Fun and informative look at one of the scariest movies of all time. The Walking Dead would not exist without this film.

Liesl E (es) wrote: Meh. What a waste of funny, talented actors.

Bryon v (es) wrote: I just didn't care for it. The main character was so utterly, unredeemingly, obnoxious and unlikeable. And unlike most Bollywood movies, they didn't begin his "transformation" to a good character until about...5 minutes before it ended? WTF is that all about? The only redeeming aspect was the weird "Indian Elvises" scene.

nyssa a (ag) wrote: because michael madsen is in this movie i thought it might be worth watching. oh how wrong i was. if you're considering it when it gets released in march, thing again. please. it is supposed to be a thriller/drama, and it succeeded at neither. badly acted, badly scripted, badly filmed, eg, photography, i can honestly say this movie has no redeeming features. supposedly a dramatic connection between the main character and the suspiciously murdered character, and it seemed like they didnt even know each other. then they throw in the daughter of the murdered guy, and she doesnt even seem upset, or have any connection with him at all. too much emphasis on unimportant characters and it made the whole thing messier and confusing. to top it all off, the twist is predictable. so very predictable in fact you would have thought they bother with a double twist just to throw you off. maybe the budget for brains ran out. if i could stop the release i would just to save the complaints i will get from customers wanting their money back.

Robert C (ca) wrote: The cast of this movie plays off of each other so well. The story is great. Very good movie.

ROB (it) wrote: This movie made every kid want to buy a DJ kit and put cardboard in their backyard for breakdancing back in the day.

Reece L (es) wrote: Has there ever been a more concise metaphor for America than a boxer, prioritizing strength above all, idealizing crushing masculinity, pulverizing anyone who gets in its way?Masculinity is inherently dramatic due to its fundamentally flawed nature; it's built on a rejection of the other, primitivism, insecurity, and fragility. Watching these foundational elements seep through the cracks in its hardened outer shell of repressed human emotion and bravado will always be fascinating to watch on both a psychological and visceral level, particularly for American audiences for which masculinity forms the backbone of their societal ideology. Scorsese's Raging Bull, like his exemplary Taxi Driver, is about this masculinity that pervades every aspect of American life. His "heroes" are horrible, abusive people, ignorant and violent, and yet because they're so clearly trapped in the destructive cycle of their nation's misguided social structure we feel for them when they destroy themselves. Watching this evisceration of our elemental makeup is gloriously cinematic and timeless in its effect, Scorsese getting to the heart of what plagues society at large; in doing so, he has created a masterpiece.

Harrison W (kr) wrote: They don't pace em like they used to--thank God. Gotta wonder if that Boo hiding in the corner scene played better when this was made. Decent movie, but if they cut out all those stupid kids, I think I might actually have enjoyed this. Someone needs to do one of those re-edits.

Jamie C (es) wrote: I've always been a big fan of post apocalyptic films but for some reason I never got round to seeing this film until years after, And yet again I kick myself for waiting so long to watch it, The film seems to be nothing new at first just an average survival movie but soon a deeper and more religious story unravels and it's very gripping from start to finish with some pretty good action scenes too, A very strong cast all act brilliantly, And the twist at the end was brillant and people will either love it or think it's too silly but a second watch of this film will change your mind, Its religious plot will not be for everyone but it doesn't go too deep into it, But in the end it's a great film that deserves much more praise.

Brian W (de) wrote: Just an okay movie. Not what I thought it would be so unless you like Ryan, I would pass on this movie.

Jacob D (gb) wrote: Most of the shorts are pretty bad only a few were actually good such as Easter, Fathers Day, and the hilarious St Patrick's Day, but then there are the atrocities such as Valentine's Day, Halloween, and especially Mother's Day, witch is one of the worst things I've ever seen.
