Sarah D (nl) wrote: I love this movie! The whole thing is done so well. You can't just describe it as a teenage romance during world war 3. They way they go about telling the story is just so much more complex and complicated than that. Really really well done. So surprised its only got a 67%

Brandon W (ca) wrote: I was kind of worried that despite the many critics that gave it high praise, the audience weren't so, and I can kinda see why. It's not the most interesting movie that I ever seen, and William Hurt is not the best protagonist to use for the movie, but it's still a great film. The acting is great, especially from Albert Brooks. The writing is great, and it goes to different turns which is enjoyable. The characters are nice, and it gives some great humor. I actually did want to see where it's going with the three main actors, and it didn't disappoint me. Not James L. Brooks's best film, but Broadcast News is one of his greats.
