Ashley H (ru) wrote: Pride is a decent film. It is about the determined Jim Ellis who starts a swim team for troubled teens at the Philadelphia Department of Recreation. Terrence Howard and Bernie Mac give good performances. The screenplay is predictable but still inspires. Sunu Gonera gives a pretty good job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture but not of my favorites.

An elderly antiquarian hiding in his home, locked up in a tomb Dracula. A group of thieves, however, frees him and from there began a long trail of blood. The film tries several times to hit the viewer twisting the reality with the dream, but fails just managing to bore him. Besides this, he can not even scare or disturb public lil because of certain scenes that despite seek to frighten, make you laugh.

Sparsh D (br) wrote: Timeless romantic classic. Shahrukh Khan establishes his dominance as the king of the romance in this fun-filled musical. Kajol makes people fall in love with her craziness. Their chemistry is outstanding. Great songs. Great acting by the two families, especially Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal and Anupam Kher. However, the moment when Amrish Puri lets go of her daughter seemed a bit abrupt. Great movie, nonetheless.
Wes S (mx) wrote: The idea behind the story is actually pretty genius, but the pokes at action-movie cliches and the self-aware setting hurts. The plot behind the plot is scattered, often laughable (intentionally and not), and hard to follow. Despite the fun premise, the movie isn't fresh in any other idea.

Jack G (jp) wrote: Charles Laughton. nuff said. its really the story of a cranky, lovable-asshole barrister first, and a pretzel-twisty murder mystery. the final thirty seconds I didn't really buy at all (not the big reveal, which anyone with a few brain cell can see coming, a decision the Barrister makes right before he leaves the film), But I can't carp - it was two giants of film with Laughton and Dietrich, and a good performance from Power (and maybe he serves the character with his over-theatrical chops than if Holden had played the part as intended). I almost wish this was a series of movies with Laughton as a cantankerous, whale of a man, though his medical condition make up a good part of his character - it would be too much but with Laughton you can really never get too much. it says it all that the actor, usually troublesome for directors, nor only behaved himself professionally but was there on days off to give other actors their line reactions. he's given a helluva character and Wilders script is hilarious and seriously intriguing

Dean S (jp) wrote: Similar to most of other Will Ferrell films, it can get a bit over the top sometimes but it is a funny movie with a good cast.
Andy B (es) wrote: A sickening uncomfortable vibe is achieved with this big screen treatment of Australia's most prolific serial killer. That means writer Grant and director Kurzel succeed in exposing the senseless and mortifying nature of a twisted being, who's art of manipulation was as bold as his criminal ambition. A stark and confronting piece of cinema that avoids sensationalism and aspires to realism.
