Ceph J (ag) wrote: "Enduring Love" is actually a sarcastic view where the main character (Daniel Craig) says repeatedly that love is just a biological science. It's interesting when he explains this to his class but painful when he chides his fiancee and friends at an intimate dinner party. Why is he so upset? He's had a frightening experience with a man's death in a hot air balloon and is stalked by a witness (Rhys Ifans). Although Craig is overwrought, he does the best he can with this role. The movie starts and ends in a beautiful field. At the beginning, Craig and Morton (his fiancee) are getting ready for a picnic when death comes unexpectedly in this gorgeous setting. It's a wonderfully photographed scene with beautiful cinematography and you feel that you're actually there on this field. In the end, the movie ends with redemption in this very location. The third act of the film is too "Fatal Attraction" for my taste with a gay Ifans believing that Craig is his unreciprocal lover. I didn't like this part of the story since it's too creepy and a little homophobic. Also, Morton's character is so oblivious to what's going on, she comes across as a self-obsessed artist. However, as a fan of Craig's I enjoyed watching him as an everyday urban man caught up in events that he can't understand until it's too late. Craig is a good actor with a wide range who can play silent and with rage at the same time.

Jesse T (ag) wrote: A skillfully shot and edited independent suspense piece. Very tight script that moves right along. Bishop is quite convincing.

Jason S (it) wrote: it's an ok movie 2 90's teenagers being stuck in 50's tv show and then colorful changing started to happen afterwards

Adam R (es) wrote: Not as good as National Lampoon's Vacation or The Great Outdoors when it comes to summer vacation movies, but it had some entertaining moments. I wouldn't watch it again though. (First and only viewing - 4/20/2015)

Jasmine Z (de) wrote: The musical numbers aren't great, but I love this movie. Very bizarre.

Stella D (ca) wrote: wow what a performance by lizabeth scott! well she's a little less wooden than usual anyway. mild mannered housewife morphs into psychotic killer when a suitcase full of cash lands in her car. it's a shame this film isn't better known. it's public domain and not in the best condition. there were some really abrupt cuts in the version i saw. i hope this gets a restoration one day. lizabeth deserves it!

Riyad F (nl) wrote: Immaculate performances! Realism is captured flawlessly. Cianfrance proves to be a promising filmmaker with great potential.

nina v (it) wrote: i love this movie so so much because it is so intense and adventurous and i am a big fan of movies like that and ii also love Dylan and Thomas because they are both great actors and these roles are are just made for them.

Phani T (kr) wrote: The story goes slow - it isn't racy.. Yet, it maintains a grip and never gets boring, not even the "filler bits" of riding through the hills.. Of course, when you have Ennio Morricone's score nothing can feel dull and/or dreary. Clint Eastwood's "cool quotient" is way too high here. For a change, there is no female lead who makes a namesake appearance. If for nothing, one has to watch just for the background score.Must watch.
