I can not wait for Wyvern 2: Revenge of the Orphaned Wyvern Babies. Those 5 remaining people living in Beaver Mills are going to pay for their sins.

It's kinda tongue-in-cheek, but there are some style points for that in this type of film. The final half of the documentary deals some heavy blows against America's War on Drugs. In a nutshell, America loves to flex its muscles, but flexing isn't always the best move. The first half "tells you how to make money selling drugs." In reality, it just shows the infrastructure of the trade. The guys who wrote Freakonomics did the same thing. As interesting as that may be (I actually found it kinda boring), the final 40 or so minutes really get into the thought provoking stuff: the history of the war on drugs, who it affects and how, the numbers associated with the war on drugs, and a better solution.Any decent documentary, in the least, serves as a conversation starter. This one is no different. It does raise some genuinely troubling questions and even seems to offer some legitimate solutions (treating drugs like tobacco for starters...that system has worked but prohibition very rarely works). Drugs are no easy topic...they do kill and destroy lives. But is our current system of handling them in America helping or hurting even more? That's the conversation.

Basically a group of old guys get together and tell ghost story that are real stories that happened to them or that they dreamt about and will eventually happen. Most of the stories center around the girl they accidently killed 50 yrs ago.

(es) wrote: This movie is either something or nothing. Or both. It's either the greatest achievement in documentary filmmaking, or just a farce. It's so strange, such a weird look into...something, what is it even looking into? Filmmaking, or humanity, or something. It's defiant, whether by choice or by accident. The whole movie is an accident.
