And, of course, how the characters explode into a variety of emotions with visual eye-candies.Visually stunning study on talent versus success/failure.Extraordinary!!

Aaron C (au) wrote: malkovich and broadbent are good in this scary dramedy about the perils and difficulties of ArtSchool (and being officially enrolled in the College of Arts & Social Sciences, I should be scared!)
James H (ru) wrote: Definitely a cult film. Parts of this film are very funny and now iconic. A couple of performances are good and the way it represents working in an office looks realistic. The biggest problem is the character Milton. He's supposed to be funny but he was one of the most annoying characters ever put to screen. Took a lot of my pleasure away from the movie.
Pavandeep S (us) wrote: A really striking film. It was like watchng a Hitchcock film but done with a Rohmer manner. I loved the way the plot just blew over and we see complications arising and yet, it does not arouse any tension of any sort in me. When the woman shouts, it never feels like shout, there isn't the plot beat for a cut but that was just it, a shout and we recognize it as such, the raw interpretation of a shout and its stereotype. Rohmer uses that well for his fundamental purpose and that is exploration unhindered by any other facets or appendage of any sort and that is what makes this an outstanding film from an aging director who is just so rivetting to watch.

Chris S (ca) wrote: This film was actually very creepy. It's essentially 4 films in one. I won't bother going into it though as it will probably spoil it. Just watch it.
Joey F (nl) wrote: This movie gets a bit more hate than it deserves. It isn't great, but it's certainly decent. It's not even the worst of the Golden Era of Pixar in my opinion. It's the second worst.

Kenneth S (it) wrote: quite scary since it's based on a true story. But Emma did great on her role and the film felt too serious in me as well since I'm Christian. It was hard to watch because of all the beatings I saw the gray haired man did to woman saying she's made out of demon only bc she loves someone... It wasn't right. I almost hated the film, but I enjoyed it anyways. Except for the beatings and how they treat religion.
