Shelly L (au) wrote: This is a really terrible movie. Lots of closeups of faces in sadness, crying, being raped, etc. The worst thing is how stupid these "sisters" are. They burn down their house in order to live in a tree with a baby, for no apparent reason. Oh yeah, "mold". Whatever, dumbest movie I've seen in at least 5 years. Dumb, dumb, dumb. Why do these "sisters" not go to a nearby house and scavange for food and supplies? They go nowhere. They have no curiosity about what happened to the world. They stay at home and do nothing. They don't even walk into town or to a neighbor's house. They plant food and we are supposed to believe that giant pumpkins can grow from old seeds in a couple of months. The forest is full of so many berries they actually preserve them in quart jars. Really??? We are supposed to believe they can make restaurant-qualify food from whatever weeds are growing nearby. They have unlimited clean water from .. somewhere. Their survival skills are zero. Yet they have giant backpacks just laying around. Nothing about this movie makes any sense. It's offensively stupid. It gets a star-1/2 for beautiful setting and somewhat-professional moviemaking.

Joshua C (kr) wrote: It starts off interestingly, and intriguingly, then it's all downhill from there; even for the typical revenge-killing-spree/torture B film standard it barely scrapes the surface as far as the whole thing is concerned. In spite of sporadic oh-so-cool moments and "interesting" dynamics between two leading women, it still qualifies as one of the worst one of its genre in recent years.

Gabriel C (mx) wrote: With mediocre animation, annoying characters and forgettable songs, NIMH 2 is one the most insulting sequels ever made. It's the Batman and Robin of animated movies, where it ignores the dark, complex themes of the original and replaces it with campy, childish schlock.

Adam R (au) wrote: Probably the worst prison film I've ever seen. It's definitely showing its age. A boring movie that I found little interest in. (First and only viewing - 6/3/2016)

Kevin M W (ag) wrote: A savvy filmmaker still needs a decent script. Cronenberg has more talent in his little finger than a school full of trained hacks, but the story here? Meh, not so much. It could've used more gell time maybe (as the ideas are sound sci-fi, no doubt). I'll be looking for more from this guy in the future.

Deanna B (kr) wrote: Seriously terrible terrible film that I don't wish anyone to ever have to bear... It was just awful...
