19th-century army officer Lance Caldwell is assigned to Fort King in the Everglades. Immediately clashing with his commanding officer Major Dade, Caldwell opposes Dade's plans to wipe out the Seminole Indians. The fact that Caldwell was the boyhood chum of Seminole chief Osceola is all the more reason to resist Dade's genocidal policies. After a deadly confrontation which costs dozens of lives on both sides, Osceola rescues Caldwell, whereupon the latter is court-martialed. Later on, Osceola comes to Fort King to talk peace, and is promptly killed by persons unknown. An attempt is made to frame Caldwell for the killing, but the truth eventually prevails.

Her fiance is the attorney for the prosecution and once she is put in prison, he is so distraught he turns to hard liquor, but she reforms in prison and learns love and service are the way to live. Considered one of the worst early DeMille movies, i actually liked this one quite a bit

(it) wrote: "Now why would a delicate thing like you want to be a goddam bounty hunter??""I want to have some fun."Ultraslick, aggrandized biopic of model-turned-bounty-hunter Domino Harvey ranks among Tony Scott's more entertaining features. Wispy Keira Knightley convincingly grabs the spotlight in this brutish man's world with a brash & sexy portrayal through curled lip, icy tongue, and low-riding jeans. Mickey Rourke is also great as her boss & mentor. The screenplay focuses mainly on one job gone very wrong involving an armored car robbery, a reality TV show, the mafia, multiple cons, and a little girl's prohibitively expensive operation.I liked how the movie is introduced as being "Based On A True Story. Sort Of." At least they are honest about taking liberties when their main aim is to entertain an audience. I loved the merciless ridicule of bygone TV show Beverly Hills 90210 and my favorite moment of the movie occurs when Knightley punches Brian Austin Green in the face, breaking his nose. Now that's worth standing up and cheering! On the downside, you get an extra caffeinated dose of Tony Scott's seizure-inducing editing, and the outrageous finale blows up any shred of believability. The opening titles are really nifty, and so are the closing credits with a cool surprise. All the actors are recounted with only their first names, which makes us wonder why, then we are introduced to the real Domino. She died shortly after the film was completed and it is dedicated to her."If you want to know what's the truth and what isn't, you can fuck off because it isn't any of your goddam business."
(gb) wrote: It was very fun and interesting. I think this movie is quite good. I was impressed by the love between amy and her dad and the geese. it would be more fun if there were more changes in the movie. Amy stole the eggs and is therefore evil because she stole the eggs from the geese's mother. it was a little boring but it gives me a good feeling. It was very good because amy helped the flock of geese and it was a happy ending.

(jp) wrote: This One Hasn't Aged Well At All. But That Said, The Robin Character Looked Fantastic & Her Dance Routine With Mark (Jim Carey) Was Nicely Choreographed. The Story Itself Had A Chronically Bad Scooby-Doo, Kids Solving The Case Quality To It All..Alongside A Very Trash-80s Soundtrack. Overall I Didn't Enjoy It, That's Why I'm Scoring It Pretty Damn Low.
