Cooper H (kr) wrote: Founder features a great performance by Michael Keaton and is surrounded by a talented cast. The story glosses over some darker pieces of Ray Kroc's story, but certainly makes you want McDonald's.

Tyler Z (nl) wrote: Definition of surprised me the most. Was not a fan at all of the first movie. But this one took a change for the better as Katniss returns to the arena for another Hunger Games

Dave J (jp) wrote: Wednesday, December 22, 2010 (2008) Direct Contact ACTION Another low budget, straight to rental, and very poorly structured Dolph Lundgren film as an ex- Special Forces merc locked in some Bulgarian prison for weapons smuggling makes an exchange to get out of prison with some guy to save this broad! The experience of watching this film is worst than most things I've seen on tv- soap operas or otherwise! Pure struggle to watch this which doesn't even try to make any sense such as a huge explosion ensures because of a small building and Dolph and the girl enter into a bus within a few meters by with passengers still in the bus going about their business like theirs no explosion to even look at! The bad guys compound was supposed to be an isolated area, yet as Dolph leaves the compound, you can see a dog walking around doing the sandy road doing nothing! Pedestrians getting shot freely apparently for no reason whatsoever like theirs a dictator living amongst Bulgaria! I mean I can tolerate bad acting but the action action sequences has to be good which their is a lack of! I mean if I wanted to see crap, I could do that by looking inside my toilet! 0 out of 4

Rodney W (ru) wrote: A very interesting blend of period horror, exploring the concepts of sin and redemption. Notably ominous and horrifying in its atmosphere and cinematography. Host to a beautifully bipolar soundtrack as well, simultaneously fearful and lovely, accompanying the setting's misty wilds well.

One of the handful movies which does quite a good job in thrilling from Hong Kong Cinema for quite a long time. Good to see Charlene Choi dares to try something other than her sweetie princess typecast.

Tommy K (es) wrote: The visual effects are beautiful and the movie is extremely colorful, but the story and characters are a complete rehash of the likes of Pocahontas, FernGully, and Dances with Wolves. Overrated by critics.
