(us) wrote: I liked PULSE. I thought it was creepy, entertaining and a well done movie despite some few flaws. I thought the ending also left things open for a really kick ass sequel. So naturally when Pulse 2: After Life came along man was I stoked. Boy what a let down to finally see it and find absolutely no redeeming qualities in it accept for maybe the box art.I am not sure but I think this may very well be the lowest rating I have given a horror film review. Pulse 2 AfterLife is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It has ok acting, some terrible visual FX and was shot with a reasonable budget in mind but the story makes absolutely NO SENSE at all and leaves you wanting to get beat to death in a prison fight rather then watch it again. I am a very forgiving film goer and can find the good in almost any movie but this movie is just beyond stupid. Its so bad I am thinking that I must be having a bitter day or something and should maybe watch it again but I really am just not that brave.

If you love NAPOLEON DYNAMITE, it's on the DVD, so check it out. If you hate it, well, I don't need to tell you to stay away.

(de) wrote: I happen to like magic realism, and this might have been a really nice fairy-tale like movie, but she ended up with someone I really didn't think she should end up with, considering. I don't think she should have ended up with any of the men presented, actually. She would have been better off on her own. The ending was also WAY too cheesy.

(mx) wrote: Pretty messy movie here. What I thought was going to be a low rent Equilibrium (which would have been amusing) turns out to to be part Alphaville, Part Total Recall and maybe part Empire Strikes Back. With a very stupid plot, Megaville is pretty boring. But Billy Zane, with the most unsubtle Widow's Peak in movie history, IS pretty to look at.
(ru) wrote: Satanic pigs, a killer Jesus statue, school boy decapitations, impressive effects, strong imagery and a demonic computer. Evilspeak is wildly inventive and has its tongue firmly in cheek. More than just a Carrie rip off, this revenge of the dork tale has a very sympathetic pro/antagonist and isn't ashamed to throw in some kooky idiosyncrasies to set itself apart. Will leave you desperate for a desktop wallpaper reading "HUMAN BLOOD, I WILL RETURN".

(fr) wrote: Great western movie classic. Heart throb, Tab Hunter plays Harold, low esteem, youngest son of the Bridges family. Harold's love for Gwen (Diana Lynn) meets disapproval of matriarch, Ma Bridges (Beulah Bondi). His older brother, Curt, wants Gwen for himself, and sets out to show Gwen what she's missing. Arthur (William Hopper) eldest son, tries to keep the peace. A panther has other ideas;moreover, so does Gwen.
