Price P (de) wrote: Finding Dory is a fun and sweet sequel to its predecessor. Although I didn't think it needed a sequel anyway. A nice film, highly recommended.

Bill R (de) wrote: it's not my favorite of the new star trek movies. I wasn't to find of the the directors choice of moving camera and spinning sections that give you some disorientation at points. I know one part was used well since the city they were in had multiple gravity pulls but it didn't work for the rest.

Mohamed F (jp) wrote: A beautiful piece of modern neorealism done right, probably the best modern neorealism I've seen, much better than Palm D'or winner of 2006 '4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days'.What also comes as a shock is that it's the directorial debut of Adrin Biniez, which earned him the Alfred Bauer Award, Best Debut Film and the Silver Bear (Jury Prize) at the 59th Berlin Film Festival.Being a neorealism flick, the pacing is on the slow side, but it never loses you and never bores you as it succeeds to keep your attention and curiosity fixed on the plot as it slowly unravels, thanks to a solid script and a director who knows what he's doing.I can't really find anything negative about this film, it captured me ever since the very first moment, I was hooked right till the end.

James B (kr) wrote: I thought this was a really good film, I still have yet to see Assassination Games, the same guy directs this one. I was very impressed with this.

Brandon W (kr) wrote: Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is a really great movie that is an improvement of An Unexpected Journey. The acting is still terrific as always, and the battle scenes are very enjoyable to watch. The new characters are memorable, especially Luke Evan's character or Smaug himself. The design of Smaug looks fantastic, and Benedict Cumberbatch gives out his A game performance that people are going to remember him for this. The effects are really good, and the film is not as much of a drag as An Unexpected Journey, although there were some scenes that drag for a bit. The love triangle wasn't really needed, but the film doesn't focus on it a lot. The score by Howard Shore is really catchy, and the barrel chase scene is one of the best parts of the film as the action is really great and is just everywhere which I'm ok with. It begins very well, and it ends on a great cliffhanger that got me excited to see the sequel. Even though The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug feels like a middle movie, it's a great enough middle film that I didn't care about it.

Daniel M (au) wrote: Toy Story 3 is the all-time greatest animated film ever made by Pixar. Even better than its first two predecessors. It is a perfect reason why it created the Toy Story trilogy, and it almost made it as one of the greatest trilogies of all time. All thanks to its powerfully heartfelt story, a lot of nostalgia and emotional moments, excellent animation, unforgettable characters and an improved villain that fixed the small mistakes over its predecessors, Lots-o-Huggin Bear voiced by Ned Beatty. If anybody who watched the first two Toy Story films, they have no excuse not to watch this movie. This is a must-watch. 5 out of 5 stars.
