Sexual Dependency

Sexual Dependency

A poor girl, a rich stud, a university student and a model -- nothing in common, except the desire to experience true intimacy. Their stories unfold and overlap as each becomes victim to their own sexual dependencies, self-perceptions and illusions. Thematically structured around issues of femininity, masculinity, virginity, rape and sexuality, each teen struggles to make sense of their own identity, reaching for ideals that represent everything they feel they are supposed to be, but are not.

Meaghan C (it) wrote: I really loved this film. A strong female cast that are endearing, witty, and quirky. Rita, Alice, and Susie are definitely the most entertaining characters.

Fernanda L (ca) wrote: Filme sem charme, entediante e pretensioso.

James H (ru) wrote: I could not get into this movie at all, the characters are cold and unlikable, very shallow. Uninvolving. I just didn't care at all how the movie turned out. the direction is aloof. Empty.

Blake M (br) wrote: Daddy Day Care was a classic "cute" movie. It might appeal to young audiences and Eddie Murphy did a phenomenal job stepping out of his comfort zone. The movie was okay- but nothing to write home about.

Jonathan H (mx) wrote: If you read the book........ This movie is almost as close as you can get to the book!

Ian P (nl) wrote: A romance-comedy with a twist of time play realities will surely delights its audiences with Gwyneth Paltrow doing it in British accent. Good set of casts and deliver the goods whenever it needed in the scenes. Paltrow was stellar in the lead role in her British accent! Two alternate plane realities happening within the storyline may confuse some but audience will get it on once it is watched carefully the difference between the two realities and its unison towards the end. Sliding Doors may not totally be a romance or comedy movie for some but it is a movie of "what if?" in romance and life that it provokes you to think that a simple situation of missing a train may change your fate in life. It makes you realize how our life will turn out or will it be radically different in "what if" situations as a result of different choices. It makes you also think if such fate or destiny really happens. One of the feel good movies around that I recommend to watch.

Zachary K (de) wrote: Underrated sequel, I like this almost as much as the first.

Francisco M (ag) wrote: es una buena pelicula para aprender sobre el desarrollo de un individuo. la pelicula obviamente no tiene accion, ni drama, ni losmejorres efectos, ni una coneccion cn el personaje pero si es interesante .

Jon P (fr) wrote: In 1934, Frank Capra sparked a genre renaissance with this paint-by-numbers screwballer. A comedy classic and Academy Award favourite, Capra's film combines charm and wit, laughter and sorrow, and Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert. The film is a fizzy comedy of errors played to perfection, and Gable and Colbert's ever-imitated exchanges will never be forgotten. It Happened One Night remains a genuine joy to watch for anyone with a heart and a sense of humour, and Hollywood will always be indebted to Capra for kickstarting a trend that would last for decades - if not a decade or two too long.

Tim W (br) wrote: Sharon Stone is gorgeous, but other than that it's all predicatable.

Judson H (nl) wrote: Funny movie. I thought Segal was great!

Arslan K (ag) wrote: The plot is stupid. The movie is stupid. But it's so stupid that it's fun watch
