(us) wrote: At first, this movie seems to be a trashy comedy due to the strange characters and goofy dialogue, but then after its first hour it evolves into an above-average thriller, surprisingly good and smarter than most slasher movies released in recent years.

(mx) wrote: Unfortunately a dull effort from Bridges who seems to be willing to play a caricature in order to get an easy paycheque. The supporting cast which has a bunch of talented actors seems to fall into line with Bridges. Get in, have some fun dressing up like coyboys and then get out.
(kr) wrote: I loved the first two so I thought I would love this one too. I was right, but it didn't seem like it at first. I was put off at first with the situation surrounding the campus and main characters but it grew on me. The brilliance of the preceding movies was absent from this one but it was still fun to watch.

(mx) wrote: This might be the one Pedro Almodovar film that I didn't enjoy. Its lacking the dramatic punch that his later films have, with not much focus or drama. Plus, some weird things simply don't flow well, like the girl with telekinetic powers. That was just completely left field and too random.
(ag) wrote: Nice contrast from the 1933 original. CGI a little over done. It's good

(br) wrote: This movie was a surprise for me. It was watchable. Predictable, cliche, and not too shabby. It is entertaining enough to sustain your attention. The action isn't too bad, but what I think keeps your attention is seeing Alec Baldwin and Bruce Willis to head-to-head. A sleeper gem.
(es) wrote: Solid, with moments of brilliance. Singer's ability to juggle the hope that the film gives you with your knowledge of how it ends is incredible - but little else impresses. The accents are really fucking annoying.
(au) wrote: Not keen on the series but this is such a funny film, worth a watch. Go T-bag a Swan.
