liked it more than caramel for no apparent reason !!

A little slow at times but ridiculously stupid which works to its credit and makes it a good shock

The story moves briskly albeit predictably. The sister, Dorothy Malone, won an oscar for her over-the-top she-vixen role, and Robert Stack was nominated for his portrayal as well. It's the stuff of soap operas and melodramas, but this fifties movie with it's fifties sensibilities has a lot of charm to it. Meanwhile, he's being pursued by the millionaire's sister, who happens to be the town floozy (and someone he wants nothing to do with). Soon, the two are married and it's the friend who's stuck carrying the torch for her. It is apparent the millionaire playboy is something of a drinker but it's his very vulnerability that lures the secretary away to fall in love with him. An advertising secretary (Lauren Bacall) gets swept up in a love triangle amonst two friends, one a millionaire playboy (Robert Stack) and the other is an employee of the millionaire father's company (Rock Hudson)

despite being a really bad version of (500) days of summer (which is so much better i almost dont want to compare the two), it eventually grows on you but may be a case of too little too late

September 20, 2014~. In the end it left me more perplexed and confused because I still cannot get my head around all it's mythology and how everything is able to happen. The acting was not that great and the whole story wasn't as strong as the first one, and I do have to say that the first one was more original and probably was better to left alone. Therefore, this wasn't a very good movie because most of the story didn't make sense and also I didn't remember half of what happened on the first one. I don't remember the first Pact that much to compare both of them, but I think that the first one was a little more superior, but not by too much

Not really worth the look, unless you are stoned or something. I dunno. The "America Rules" stuff got a lil annoying. . . but the puppets do a little bit more. . . It's not good, and has the weirdest characters. This one at least made me giggle a lot. and you would think it would be an improvement but no. . . Not as bad as the first half, but the lead actor changes from the last film to this one

very original comedy

Lamberto Bava's directorial debut is memorable. Twisted film that will have you avoiding trips to the refrigerator for leftovers. Chilling Italian horror has woman storing her adulterous lover's severed head in an icebox, keeping it on hand for tender moments

Sadly, this was not one of them. It taught me that it takes a deft hand to make all aspects of movie-making work, including the stuff behind the scenes. and that's never good. . . The only drawback was that the film editing was so slipshod it got in the way of the story. The music score by Burt Bacharach and Elvis Costello ranges from peppy to soul-deep and memorable. Illeana Douglas is absolutely cute and quirky in her leading role, with Davidson, Turturro and Dillon lending support. Story-wise, this was a solid attempt at a coming-of-age romance set in the music industry of the 50s and 60s

Definitely worth to take a look at. Good action, also some fun and also one or the other thrilling story turnings. in a positive way. . . I was very surprised by this movie
