Leo W (de) wrote: It offers nothing groundbreaking. it was simply a sincere and adorable tear jerker, in the best way possible. In what seems like a dark set up, throughout the film you will feel nothing except for joy and happiness. Despite the devastating situation the characters were in, the mood and the dialogue was able to guide us through those with a smile on our face. in the end, there were a lot of sappy moments, but it was nonetheless a extremely well-acted and well-paced film, and deserves a watch from everyone.

Jay P (fr) wrote: The music is naturally brilliant, but the story gets really boring despite how great it's been made to look.

Rebeccah R (jp) wrote: The story of a family with plenty of emotional baggage and a dark depressing history. Kate Bosworth is great in her roll and so are Ellen Burstyn. Interesting, blues and thought-provoking...

Kevin F (fr) wrote: So... Interesting even the story behind what happened is really good... =] !!!

Jamie M (ca) wrote: Confusing and melodramatic, but has some truly beautiful moments.

Marcela P (kr) wrote: Interesting idea for a movie, but i didnt like how the director developed the family conflic.... The trailer is funnier than the movie

James O (de) wrote: A lady dies which is quite a big deal but the melodrama that follows is pretty ridiculous. I don't really understand the plot very well. You'd think that someone dying was bad but somehow we're led to believe a white lie is a bigger deal. I got bored and disinterested.

Pete S (ca) wrote: Fairly good story on a very low budget. Could have been much better with a bigger production.

Aakash G (de) wrote: just too much of the mess and less of any sense basically :/

Aldo M (fr) wrote: Pedro Almodovar meets the French formal perfection in the person of Francois Ozon, and gives us this jewel.Maybe not the best Ozon's movie, it does not have the rythm of "In the House", for example, rather, on some rare - and very short - moment a semblance - but just a semblance - of boredom sneaks in: however, it may be well kept in full control just by the appreciation of the taste and aesthetic perfection of the formal composition of the images, the lights, the colors, the musical comment (in this Ozon is a - French - master). No matter what, in the end the movie leaves - it left me - a beautiful feeling, deep in the heart and in the soul, a feeling still lasting the next day, and it seems it is going to last for long. If art is emotion - and it is - this is art.

Marco Mauriio G (es) wrote: Getting on the mob with humour and flair, after 5 minutes you cannot help but just laugh, if you follow the, a bit, surreal premises. Love it, and Palermo looks quite a lovely city in this movie. Maybe to be seen after the Godfather??

Terror A (us) wrote: This is a wonderful little gem of a film. The performances were really good (David Keith was great and having a ball as Elvis Presley), the script is nicely written and there is a lot of charm to it. While the plot may be to unbelievable for some people but if you just go along with it there is a lot to enjoy.

Chris C (ca) wrote: This is as cheesy as the cover makes it look. But it is entertaining even with all those cliche 80's elements.

Donnie H (ca) wrote: I really do love this film, it is Schwarzenegger at his best. My only real complaint about this film is that some of the effects are dated. But, I can't really hold that against the film considering the year it was made.

Matthew C (us) wrote: Slow at first but the ending is well worth it.

Cale R (es) wrote: Kurosawa's debut film is very conventional, but entertaining none the less.

Orlok W (ca) wrote: Hallucinogenic drugs, homosexual adultery, blackmail, poop (literally), nudity, and much more in One Funeral--Dark-humored British farce is to die for!!

Carroll H (es) wrote: I like Selma, but this is some stupid dialogue, and not a very entertaining production. Moronic violence just for thrills on the big screen. Hate and violence is probably not in style anymore, and the is of an example of what ruins an industry. Selma is not Angelina, and can not pull off this kind of junky action flick ..., rating keeps going down as I skip watch ... ugh .. think I will switch back to Pandora now for background noise ...

Matthew C (mx) wrote: Halloween 2 is definitely a disappointing sequel because of how much it relies on gore instead of suspense. But, it is still set in a creepy place and I enjoyed the ending to this film very much. Overall an okay sequel that pales in comparison to the original.
