Muthahagu P (ca) wrote: Did not expect a two-and-a-half hour documentary on Beethoven to hold my attention. Suffice to say that the documentary moved at a brisk pace, and I was left wanting for more! The commentary about Beethoven's music, and what he was doing in his life, when he composed them, was very interesting to listen to. Art imitating life?I still don't know what an adagio or a fugue means - but I can relate to what feeling the composer wanted to evoke in his audience.Watch it if you get the chance. You'll definitely come out thinking that it is not "elevator music"!

Noname (de) wrote: I thought this would be more funnier then it really was and the cast seemed kinda promise like Rutger Hauer , Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) altho he havent got the main role. The movie felt really low budget all the way actually and better to pick up some other movies before this..

Stevie B (de) wrote: No thank you I don't want to watch cheerleaders. Had enough of them in high school. Couldn't stand them then either.

Kayla H (de) wrote: A corny film about a stereotypical "dumb" blonde California girl who finds herself at Harvard Law. Reese somehow still manages to shine through all of the silliness. It's a fun success-story film for a night when you just want to watch something simple, predictable, and pink.

Daniele C (mx) wrote: Watching it 14 years later probably gives you a biased opinion, but this low-budget, poor script, copy of the Matrix looks just as a waste of money and talent now, as I'm sure it looked in 2002.

Carlos M (de) wrote: Like Top Gun with racing stock cars, it may not be really original and is quite predictable actually, but it has a very good soundtrack and Tom Cruise injecting a lot of energy into a two-dimensional character who lacks sufficient depth and motivation for us to care.

Mike N (us) wrote: darkly humorous in the beginning, and than turns completely dark and sad...well filmed and a good story. "your still a slave jake, a slave to your fists,to the drink,to yourself."

Ted W (ca) wrote: I don't think this deserves the bad press it gets. Yes, it's Cage in manic phase and the mystery is pretty obvious from the get go, but the set up is amazingly filmed and the opening shot is worthy of an Orson Welles. The women in the story are merely damsels in distress (DePalma doesn't do well with strong women) but I found myself interested in how this tale was told.

Jake A (fr) wrote: Yes this is my first time seeing this highly regarded film and I wish I had seen it sooner. With solid performances, great production, a huge amount of gags throughout, a good score and an iconic dance number to boot this is a spoof that might not be high brow but is funny nonetheless.
