Jason C (mx) wrote: Given all the headlines about women equality in the last few years this movie seems a tad sexists. It seems to give the impression that all that matters to a women is getting married and having children at all costs. Also the editing in this movie was not great, as it sped thru certain parts to get to the"main story" instead of making the story a complete journey.
Brad S (jp) wrote: A powerful look at the lack of justice in military sexual assault cases. The film really helped me feel the pain and shame that the victims of these injustices feel. It's a strong documentary that tells stories that need to be told to wake up America to changes that need to happen within our military.

g k (ca) wrote: Not worth spending 106 minutes really. Especially unnecasarily dramatic soundtrack and cops who don't bother grabbing their guns while trying to catch a serial killer (maybe they all know teakwondo) were very annoying. Last but not least, the movie copies Se7en so badly, David Fincher can commit suicide because of his inspiration for this non-sense.
William W (gb) wrote: Lately I felt I couldn't consider myself a self-respecting cinephile unless I at the very least sampled more works both by female directors and from the gay/lesbian/related subgenre. Fortunately my university offered in its library collection an assortment I decided to peruse occasionally. Although Deitch's film is a romantic drama featuring lesbians, I still readily enjoyed it. Glad I took a chance on it and decided to expand my horizons as a adventurous film aficionado.
Brett B (de) wrote: A pure rehash of the original POSEIDON ADVENTURE, this sequel merely throws another collection of character types into the same old situations with little creativity. The effects are unconvincing, there is no suspense, and the all-star cast members are wasted.
Anna B (us) wrote: I really enjoyed this, especially the first half, which is truly wacked-out and bizarre in the most exciting ways. It does get gradually less weird, and therefore less interesting as it goes along, but that first blast of crazy is like a bell that rings in your ears throughout. I loved how the little white kid just completely rolls with the situation without batting an eye, and also how obsessed Roeg is with Jenny Agutter's legs because can you blame him? Wow. Another awful region 4 DVD transfer though.
Jamie B (br) wrote: A masterpiece. I'm not even that crazy about Barbara Streisand, but I was absolutely enchanted by her in this movie, and have been belting out the songs for days. How soon is too soon for viewing #2?!?
