Pourya E (us) wrote: As a huge fan of period pieces I get extra excited whenever I get to see a historic account from Russia! They often enjoy high production quality with a sense of authenticity that is rare to the genre. "Tzar" is no exception, along with excellent performance by Pyotr Mamonov who basically singlehandedly carries the movie on his shoulders! However the rigid style of narration doesn't help the film to reach its ultimate potential, unfortunately, leaving one with two very long and slow hours.

William B (us) wrote: if you enjoy scenes involving state-of-the-art choreographed glass-smashing, explosions, and bodies (often burning) flying around by every conceivable means, then this is your movie: technically, it's light years ahead of the Hollywood equivalents - unfortunately, it's just as full of the same braindead moralistic legitimising

Joe L (ca) wrote: Ryan Phillipe is extremely underrated. Wahlberg continues to deliver. Can't wait for season 2

Nicolas E (gb) wrote: in my opinion it lacks something, killings, robberies and in the end a happy end, maybe too much. But the cast is good.

Leonard Z (ag) wrote: The villain talks too much (and with strange monologues) and why is almost EVERYONE and being so mean to Flappy???

Saad C (br) wrote: Who knew Shahrukh could be so evil?? The plot was fresh and was a really good thriller. Seeing Shahrukh as a killer was a shocker (as he usually is the hero!). Overall, good twisted plot, good actors (Shahrukh, Kajol, and Shilpa did an amazing job), and good songs (especially Yeh kali kali ankhien and Ae mere hum safar).

Tsukasa A (br) wrote: I was surprised Milla Jovovich played the leading part of the romance. Now I understand the she was the right actress for the role as the story is about life in nature. The movie was released in 1991 when she was 16, more than 10 years before 'Resident Evil(TM).

Brian S (gb) wrote: The last of Herschell Gordon Lewis's gory low budget films of the "Blood Trilogy". It was alright, i enjoyed the film. The acting isn't always that good though and the blood effects are super shity, but that's why it isn't a bad idea to see this flick. The atmosphere, espacially near the end of the film is nice. Recommended !

Christopher J (gb) wrote: Sounds interesting but it's not, it's completely boring in every way

Annalis C (br) wrote: Was going for a zombie flick and got some weird doomed romance movie. Boring. The pace should have been sped up and the end of the movie was actually the most intriguing plot point, which was not followed through on. Super emo. No thrills or chills.

Yeleysa C (au) wrote: I loved this movie. I watched it a lot when I was a child.
