Though I enjoyed it, it didn't really stand out that much...there are way better coming of age movies. I also think it's an overrated film, in no way is their "brilliant" or a "masterpiece" like others believe it to be. But, overall, it was still solid but still a little too weird for me (the style I mean). I don't see myself rewatching this movie, it's just not one of thoseRating: GOOD 3/5 OR 6/10

Elad W (jp) wrote: One of the biggest surprises that I had with a movie, This movie may be very generic and slow but it's actually well done and gave me a really good time. It is very realistic in parts and the horror parts were very good, the end maybe has a clishe but it didn't ruin my enjoyment at all, I really reccomend you this movie, it's very underrated I think.

007 W (it) wrote: Monsters university in really good, The only problem I have with it is that now it's very stale and repetitive but that's it, everything else is good, the story and writing is pretty good, the characters are iconic as always, the acting is really good, the music is also really good, and the animation is fantastic, it's a good movie and for a Pixar movie I think it's one of the best, so I like Monsters University a lot, but it's not as good as all the great and good Pixar movies, nor is it as good as the as the first monsters inc movie, but it is a really solid movie, if I'd have to give it a rating I would give it a 7, I like it better than Brave and cars 2, anyway that's it, it's a good movie

Melissa T (kr) wrote: Terrible. Hard to watch. Difficult to believe that it was filmed/released in 2004; quality appears to be much older. Strange. Watching not recommended.

Sarah (mx) wrote: Aside from the main guy being very attractive this movie wasnt all that great. The story was really kinda weird and sad. The characters were not likable at all. It's rather depressing overall. And I kind of dont understand the point. That being said there were parts in Greek and I didnt have subtitles so that might be part of the reason it didnt make sense. Though I really think that the whole movie just didnt make a lot of sense. I dont understand the message or point behind any of it. What did this movie teach me? All Greeks take it up the ass apparently.

Matt G (ag) wrote: Colorful, pretty stuff by Zhang Yimou once again. Unfortunately, the story is bogged down by lazy cliches and pales in comparison, narratively, to other Chinese films of this era. Another attempt at conveying the flaws of moralistically troubled adults through the eyes of a child. Visually, this is interesting, but story-wise, this is boring. The central child character lacks any sort of emotional landscape. He sees things, but he isn't involved. A distance separates him from the story, and to what effect? Zhang Yimou seems to ignore what makes a story impact an audience, and hand feeds the information in the story quite often. I think the film would have benefited from the ellipticism of a Hou Hsiao-Hsien movie perhaps. Or maybe it is that I just do not like Zhang's films.

Andrew G (au) wrote: The best in the franchise - stunning action sequences, top notch performances, electrifying stunts, and a cool espionage story for good measure. It's so satisfying seeing a smart, thrilling action series continue to trek on without a hitch in quality. It's the best Bond movie since Casino Royale, the best Bourne movie since Ultimatum; it's everything action movies strive to be.
