Nick S (de) wrote: Good movie but it seemed like it was Restrepo 1.5. The interviews were extended (some repeated) and were edited to create another movie. Solid but not as good as Restrepo.

George B (br) wrote: This movie did a nice job with creating a mood and the acting wasn't bad. The zombies were well done and original. The only real problem I had with this film is that it is soo fuckin boring. Scenes drag on and on and there are so many pointless conversations that the film barely held my attention and I struggled to follow what was going on. The story is almost exactly like Night of the Living Dead, but in modern day and with diseased birds.

Andreas K (au) wrote: great anti-war movie, changing very fast from calm peaceful scenes to sudden unexpected rocket alerts and attacks from an invisible enemy. great movie!

Jason S (mx) wrote: Incredibly incoherent. There are moments of brilliance, wonderful tirades, and decent comedy. Tons of missed opportunities. It would be tolerable if it weren't for so many characters that are too undeveloped. The entire film is completely oblivious to the phenomenal soundtrack, locations, imagery, time period, and holiday that it's supposed to be centered around. Early 1980s New York City gets treated like inconsequential dirt by this film.

Simon M (mx) wrote: I went to see this In the theatre when I was 9, thinking I was pretty smart going to see George Burns. It was pretty dull and unfunny.

Ben P (it) wrote: I remember watching this in English or Drama at school and it was pretty boring.
