Diosme R (us) wrote: It's a really good film about self-discovery. Beautifully acted by all. The mystery of the characters kept me watching and of course the beautiful Elsa Pataky. my only complaint is that it lingers and has a slow pace. It felt a lot longer than 1 hour and 40. The ending also left me wanting more.

I don't know why it didn't work, but it was just rubbish. It get's 30% only for featuring a rain drenched Christian Kane playing a (completely unscary) sort of crazy man. Avoid it.

Robert P (gb) wrote: Surprisingly, I had not scene this horror/thriller before, although I vividly remember the "hospital windows making a skull" poster, which of course scared me as a kid! The movie has a strange but shallow set-up that is centered around the hospital... some scenarios working better than others, but at least it plays for suspense instead of gore. Lee Grant is pretty good (did she ever change her appearance or hair?). The hospital setting could have been used to greater extent, and of course reeks of the skeleton crew Haddonfield Hospital where no one stays and no one works. I'd be up for a reboot of this.

It may not be for kids, though, as it features a good deal of violence and dark subject matter. They may not grasp the political themes, but they can surely understand explosions, gunfire and destruction. Which brings us to what makes this story appealing to the older kids: it's a bit dark. It has some of the same themes seen in "A.I." and "I, Robot". If you dug those films, you may appreciate this one. For me, it's a thumbs up, though not an outright victory.
