Jos Carlos (jp) wrote: While it explores no new themes, the efficient "Kung Fu Panda" benefits from an outstanding animation, magnificent voice-actings, tons of likeable characters, and one entertaining, funny and inspirational story that's also full of well-documented details about martial arts.
Angie A (br) wrote: Rather brilliant dissection of a classic slasher movie, the ending came out of nowhere. Great for Halloween movie month.
InsertUname H (kr) wrote: Do you want to see a greatly animated CGI venture with complex characters, a non-bland plot, non-predicable events, and the best commercials you may ever see? This movie is not for you!

Fred T (es) wrote: Ferocious in Every Way! A film that bursts with life and soars with epic storytelling, (steeped in historical fact mind you). Profoundly authentic, riveting, & unflinchingly savage! City Of God chronicles the rise & fall of 3 generations of Brazilian gangs. Including their in fighting and feuding for power and supremacy over the drug trade in the slum dubbed "the City of God". That of which would ultimately lead to bloodshed and merciless vendetta, throughout the 60's and 70's. Set to the back drop of beautiful Rio De Janiro, this outlaw tale is a scorcher, that is both cinematically gorgeous and audaciouslly difficult to watch...a must see!!!
Stephen S (kr) wrote: Really stupid. I mean, it's still pretty entertaining, but it's just so dumb. I mean, implausibly dumb. But then again, how much can you really expect out a film from a series called Death Wish?
Paul D (ru) wrote: I think this is funnier now since Mel Gibson has been knocked down a few pegs from his own poor choice's. When this first came out no one liked the idea of him in this kind of role. It still has a lot of predictable fluff in it, but in this day and age when how men treat women is making the news...it does offer a bit of enlightenment...but not much else.
