Lauren S (ru) wrote: American Democracy is dying the the Koch brothers are trying their hardest to pull the plug. Please watch and share, its sad this film hasn't been seen by many. A very valuable hour. Must watch.

Rob R (ag) wrote: Good documentary about the beer industry.

kylie j (us) wrote: Irena Salina's award-winning documentary investigation into what experts label the most important political and environmental issue of the 21st Century - The World Water Crisis. Salina builds a case against the growing privatization of the world's dwindling fresh water supply with an unflinching focus on politics, pollution, human rights, and the emergence of a domineering world water cartel. Interviews with scientists and activists intelligently reveal the rapidly building crisis, at both the global and human scale, and the film introduces many of the governmental and corporate culprits behind the water grab, while begging the question 'CAN ANYONE REALLY OWN WATER?'

Sameer K (us) wrote: Entertaining, but quite poorly acted and way too cute for its own good. The style was nice but kind of obvious. I understand it was Tom's movie and told through his alternating rose- and black-colored glasses, but we literally never got to know a single thing about Summer. That's kind of a problem. Best scene: Expectations vs. Reality. Good soundtrack. Though as the movie states, liking the same things -- like musicians -- isn't enough of a reason to love something.

Tim S (ru) wrote: There's no denying that The Terror Within is a complete and utter ripoff of Alien, but most of the science fiction movies made or acquired by Roger Corman in the late 70's and throughout the 80's were ripoffs of either Alien or Jaws. So dismissing this as simply that would be unfair. The truth is that it isn't a great movie, but it's a lot of B movie fun for those who are interested. It even has George Kennedy in it leading the proceedings, although he doesn't seem all that interested in what he's doing. The monster itself is a guy in a rubber suit, and while it's fairly well-designed, it still comes off comically most of the time. As the movie goes on it gets more and more boring, but it's entertaining enough to warrant at least a rent.

Brian B (ru) wrote: Good old Vincent Price being evil. This time he goes out on a witch hunt, literally. He gets a bit out of hand in his work.

Chuck N (de) wrote: Definitely one of the best, or possibly the best of all spaghetti westerns.

Maymay A (ca) wrote: It has a pretty nice life lesson but I don't think it's any more than a mediocre children's movie.

Michael H (us) wrote: Starts off well but once navigator and spaceship meet, things drag.

Thomas K (es) wrote: It's got a great cast and it's certainly slick enough. David Mamet wrote most of the film under an alias because the WGA wouldn't give him sole credit. The dialogue is great but it would have been sweet if Mamet had bothered to throw in a plot.
