James Z (it) wrote: opens assiduously with a rather envisioning take on insulation. but after a while it's snatched by a growing apprehension it doesn't have enough ideas to differentiate itself as an 'ice age' ornament. it's eagerly-arranged and admittedly funny, yet the franchise needs the moxie for a more serious fettle.

Tracy B (it) wrote: "I'm good for you"...Love that line and love this movie! I dont understand how it didnt get amazing ratings, your really can't go wrong with Phillip Seymour Hoffman. He's always fabulous! There are some kinda awkward moments, but the characters are kinda awkward so it works. Go see it.

Anna Q (es) wrote: I remember nothing about this movie. That's not saying much, considering my memory, but I probably didn't like this.

Chris V (ag) wrote: An incredibly bizarre film, and probably not one that's even all that good. I just enjoyed it because it's about ten thousand miles away from anything else I have seen. If the idea of Tilda Swinton playing four different roles (three semen-powered robots and one genetic engineer) excites you, check it out. If not, you'll probably just be a little freaked by this movie.

Chris H (de) wrote: I think it works...kinda. Reminds me of a Steven Segal western.

Hollywood H (mx) wrote: one of my top comedy films. You must like really stupid humour though.

James (it) wrote: I usually don't hate stories like this, but the kid played a spoiled brat so well that I couldn't enjoy it.

Aaron G (kr) wrote: Though not at all what I expected, this movie packed several thrills that made me squeal like a piggy.

Whit w (us) wrote: A very good supernatural thriller based on a Richard Matheson novel. It was released on the heels of "The Sixth Sense", which was a huge success and really overshadowed this flick. I wouldn't say "Stir Of Echoes" is frightening, it does have a number of desperate moments when Tom Witzky (Kevin Bacon) or his family are in peril. The mood and personality of the Witzky's neighborhood is nicely portrayed and is key to the film's success. Ghost frights are really minimal. The movie ends with a decent twist that wraps up a well spent 90 minutes.

Robert I (fr) wrote: Considering how long it took to make this sequel, you'd expect some backlash for not living up to the hype (ala Episode I). However, no one watches anime so no one cared this wasn't as good as the first film. Still better than most other animes.
