Roger R (it) wrote: Sam Peckinpah meet Shintaro/ Phantom agents meets Monty Python meets John Waters meets Astro boy meets porno pisstake - a film which acknowledges and subverts almost every cinema cliche and convention - seen at 2011 Sydney Film festival

Bill R (de) wrote: am I the only one that sees a blatant rip off from Red Dawn? even the red dawn remake did better than this movie. full of stereotypical teenagers, horribly done army that is suppose to invade the town and just poor logic and decisions throughout the whole story. The characters had no connection and it felt like a made for TV movie that was rated R for what? The fuck since the violence is nothing compared to normal television.only thing it had was a budget that made the special effects believable.I say skip

Kenny B (gb) wrote: Many flaws but was only a platform for Iko Uwais & Gareth Evans to the awesome The Raid Redemption.

Charlie K (de) wrote: I like it because their is a man and he is nasty but then at the end he started to be nice. Santas reindeers can't even lift them but the magic collar thing with the diamond on it makes the friends of his dogs fly

Julio S (de) wrote: Horrible...these writers need to get a life!!!

Daniel B (gb) wrote: Very dark polish comedy that as one disaster builds upon another disaster until you feel a level of despair close to that of the main protagonist. There is much greed and lust for money running through the centre of the film and all the characters are extremely selfish and self serving but so well drawn that despite their obvious bad qualities you cannot help liking them. How bizarre is a polish wedding? Is it really this bizarre? Apparently after looking into it, it really is! and if it's possible they seem to drink more as a nation than we do in the UK. So it's likeably absurd but also quite real, it's funny for sure but also uncomfortable watching at times. We're showing it in Peterborough but sadly I very much doubt anyone will come and watch which is a shame.

Nina L (ca) wrote: I thought the story was very common or even poor. But the 80's photography with its saturated colors from the Las Vegas' neon lights, the gaudy costumes and the bluesy soundtrack performed by Tom Waits and Crystal Gayle are amazing! They singers should have performed the parts themselves. Forget about the story: simply enjoy the picture!

Jeremy N (es) wrote: Saucy shenanigans set in a toilet manufacturing factory (owned by W.C. Boggs)!

Nick P (br) wrote: I can't believe someone who goes to jail for beating his girlfriend, can make enough money to blow it on a HUGE cast like put in the WORST, most RACIST, disgusting, sexist, uncalled for, piece of shit, unfunny movie I have ever seen in my life.

Matthew D (mx) wrote: Achieves precisely what it sets out to do: creating 'Teenagers from Outer Space' in the style Ed Wood made movies, a tribute not a spoof.Burton's normal weaknesses; lack of emotional impact, character development, or depth that hampers his more serious efforts are a perfect fit here.Because of these traits the focus on subplots are uninteresting and they take up far too much of the running length, which could have easily been shortened for more punch. Everyone involved is clearly enjoying themselves and not taking it too seriously, watch it in the same mindset and the lack of cynicism is refreshing, and the fun contagious.

Jennifer W (ru) wrote: Bit dark as I remember but enjoyable and light romance

Ruhan R (kr) wrote: Gang Related featured James Belushi and Tupac Shakur (in his final performance) as a crooked cop duo set on covering up their tracks. The performances in this film were decent, no moving chemistry anywhere but the acting wasn't crummy. The plot itself was ok, but the twists and turns weren't designed that well and the plot felt like it was dragging on after a while. Overall a standard watch but nothing special.
