Okay, the lead Frieda Inescort could had been more compelling had they follow on this female "Van Helsing" counterpart idea, but no, fumbled the ball at the 2 yard line and the werewolf sidekick, despite the lame make-up effects was fairly interesting. Overall this was actually stylish made and enjoyable, but not without it's obvious flaws

Tim M (br) wrote: Mike Nichols adapts this searing story of love's elusiveness, passion's grip, and the pain of abandonment extraordinarily well to the screen. The cast is magnificent, and the feeling of the film is all too dead on.
