Hugo G (ag) wrote: 7.4/10This was a very good movie that dealt with very important topics like bullying, and how it can shape people. It was so well acted and realistic, and just the way the main characters were being mold throughout was very interesting. But most importantly it was a very sad and scary look at someone that suddenly becomes the villain as a cause of bully of loss of reality. And in the end it was very chilling and nerve-wracking. It truly makes an impact on you because of how real it feels and also how accurately shows high school life. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the perp am holding the camera was never seen, and he would always be everywhere recording everything, which was weird. However, the movie was very good and although it was too goofy at first probably to give some background to the characters, once it gets to the dark stuff that's were it gets good. ~June 27, 2015~

Since i saw The Departed way before seeing the original i thought it wouldnt compare. Not only did it compare, but in my mind, it might even be better then The Departed. I was blown away at how much Scorsese riffed on the plot. Nearly every scene was completely copied or transferred identically from one to the other. The score was tremendous and highly compelling. Very worth the watch.
