Dave J (it) wrote: Friday, January 13, 2012 (2011) Sniper: Reloaded WAR/ ACTION Low budget, conventional and straight-to-rental flick has a small group of US soldiers ordered to safegaurd a resident through some of the lands of the African Congo, only to be ambushed by some snipers leaving only one soldier still alive who after a bond with these soldiers is succumbing to seek retribution. The good are the actual existing politics explained that is going on in Congo and in Africa in general which doesn't come out until much later meaning that the director had probably done his research making the first 40 minutes to be very routine, the production values which includes some of the acting is apparently very low and has potential to be better. 2.5 out of 4

SA2 is the straight to DVD and Blu Ray sequel to the 2006 film starring Ryan Reynolds, Jeremy Piven, Ben Affleck, and Chris Pine. Unlike the first movie this movie brings in some no names except for Tom Berenger (Major League), Autumn Reeser (The OC), and the most bad ass human being to walk the earth, Mr. Vinnie Jones.Bad acting throughout, rough story, and pointless.

Caylie J (br) wrote: Not even a damned zombie movie, the cover totally throws you off.. I was laughing the whole way through, and it's not because this movie's a comedy..

Paul B (mx) wrote: A slow character study is almost brought to life by Chris Cooper's excellent performance...but until the credits roll across the screen, this film just seems dead.

Heather S (de) wrote: It interviewed so many people from the state department, the CIA, and more who had 20+ years of service wondering about the misrepresentation of facts...

Billy O (au) wrote: It is great that there is a movie that seriously discussing the global warming topic, and with a great effort for gathering opinion from different speakers from different viewpoints - big-heads in the city, victim of the environmental problem, scientists, and front-liners of environmental protection. Things that discussed in the movie may not be new to the audience, but the extent of the "illness" of the Earth at the movie is surprising. To be honest, the movie is a bit bored, but it is still worth watching and is able to arouse the awareness for this critical moment for the environmental protection.

Benedikt F (es) wrote: Tarantino's speech on the homo-erotic subtext of Top Gun alone makes this viewing worthwhile. Apart from that it's a solid drama carried by strong performances from the actors.
