Lisa S (au) wrote: This movie was great. I don't care what anyone says. It's very creepy. It could be slightly hard to watch just because of how the mom is. But it's a good movie with GREAT actors.

Per Gunnar J (fr) wrote: This movie sounded rather good when I read about it. I do like a good revenge movie. Unfortunately it did not exactly live up to expectations. This is more an amateur rampage than a planned attempt to find out who the culprit is and exact revenge. A good chunk of the movie is spent with the four brothers mouthing off at each other. Another good chunk is spent with them very amateurishly running around waving guns and "interrogating" people. Somehow, mostly by sheer luck, they actually manage to get closer to their goal. Even the good cop in the movie behaves as a bloody amateur when confronted with what he knows is a crooked cop and of course gets the short end of the stick for his efforts. As if the amateurish behavior of the four brothers was not annoying enough they have thrown in a hysterical, supposedly Italian, girlfriend who is dumber than a doornail and excruciatingly frustrating when she shows up shouting, screaming and generally tries to sabotage the brothers attempts to get anywhere. The only thing mildly intelligent and entertaining about this movie was the ending when the brothers confronted the crooked cop and the main bad guy. I have to say that I did not see that coming. Otherwise the movie was pretty null to me. Technically it had no problem. It was decent enough shot and the actors did a quite good job of the roles they were given. It fell down big time on the script however. At least for me.

Le M (es) wrote: An average film, but I suppose its worth a watch, its not total rubbish, tho some of the acting leaves a lot to be desired, I didnt start guessing how it would unravel until about half way through, but more or less near the beginning, I had a fair bit of what was going on.......

Chris M (ru) wrote: Ah yes, YuGiOh the Movie, one of the most generally crappy movies to ever be based on an anime that is mediocre to begin with. I don't think I hate it as much as I wanted to because I'm not a fan of the show anyway. It's obviously a 90 minute commercial for the trading cards much like how the Pokemon movies are for whatever merchandise they sell. This movie isn't for anybody who never saw the show or haven't liked it to begin with and I'm not certain fans would like it or not. I don't know. This movie's not for me anyway.

John B (us) wrote: Confusing tosh. Not sure if it's trying to be clever or just a bad story. Either way - avoid.

Francisco L (jp) wrote: Chicken Little is an advisable movie for the children, because, despite the little predictable narrative, it brings a lot of good suspense scenes and delightful visuals that will please them with the help of the original story and funny characters.

Noah S (es) wrote: Um ... the term "cock tease" kept springing up during the shootout with the police. You could just hear the director saying "Ok, now smear this grease on your torso and lie there over him in ecstatic pain. Perfecto! Let's do it again just be sure." It had great style though.

Zach B (au) wrote: So, forget the travesty that was "The Punisher" (2004). Finally, we get a faithful adaptation of this character. Let me start by saying the look & tone of this movie is spot on. Is it dark, gritty, and stylized? Yes. Is it over the top and a little too cartoon-ish at times? Yes. Should it be? Yes. The problem with the 2004 film was that it tried to focus on the flimsy plot and just as flimsy characters. This film however is fast paced, exciting like reading one of the "War Zone" comics. When it needs to slow down, it does, and it doesn't feel like an anchor. When the movie picks up, it REALLY picks up and keeps you entertained. Now with all this being said, the movie definitely has its flaws. Ray Stevenson is great as Frank Castle. Looks like the character, and doesn't over, (or for that matter) under do it. He plays Castle well and it's a reason the movie is as good as it is. However, everyone else casted in this feels very amateur. Dominic West is such a poor acted stereotype that by the time he makes his transformation, you feel as if you're watching Daffy Duck of the "Looney Tunes". Everyone seems pretty disposable, Newman especially, but in the end it's Stevenson that holds this movie together. So, if you're already familiar with the punisher this would be the movie to watch. If you're not familiar and are just a fan of genre action movies, you will still definitely enjoy this.

Darren B (ag) wrote: Still not a Liam Neeson fan. Slow, boring, scenes of gunfire that seemed to go on and on, characters you could careless about... yeah not good. Overly long too.

Garrett C (nl) wrote: It's a more intelligent modern comedy flick centering around a popular fad than one would expect, but the film meanders in its point more often than it should. Who decided to throw in a commercial break for Bill Murray?
