Everything flowed together so well, it was a pleasure to watch. Basically this movie is an urban love story between two women set in New York City. Vanessa Kelly and Julia Garrison portrayed by Veronica Mittenzwei and Lisa Rothe respectively. The movie explores the dynamic of their relationship, how they reveal the treasures of their hearts and souls to each other and ultimately part, perhaps never to meet again. It is a universal story that many of us have lived through, cried over and grown from. "In Passing" intimates that loving another is the surest path to knowing ourselves and that love always transforms us whether we experience incredible joy or deep sorrow. As the character of Julia reflects: "One good thing about life is that it gives us the chance to love over and over again...: Highly recommended!!

The acting is refined and charismatic and the premise is very interesting. It was a little confusing and I'd probably have to watch it again to completely understand it, but it was a very provoking interesting movie.

A dream so grandiose, so ambigious in nature in all aspects, most importantly identity. I love the model of making one's identity-driven dream into a narcisistic, hollywood-esque performance of the most compelling kind. If you're not accustomed to high art, in the form of performance, and or film, I d suggest beginning with his Drawing Restraint series as a pre-cursor. However, if this is something that catches your fancy, I highly suggest viewinig all 5 Cremaster films in sequential order.

Droll and amiable comedy for the most part, despite a jarring and completely gratuitous sex scene early on that seemed to belong to a different movie.
