Song About a Flower

"Sapovnela" means "the flower that nobody can find." We present this film without subtitles (the voiceover was forced on us by the censorship in the Soviet times but the film was banned anyway due to its ending). This was my first attempt at combining music and colors. Also, this is a story about the old florist Mikhail Mamulashvili who created wonderful compositions in his small garden. -- Otar Iosseliani

Song About a Flower torrent reviews

Kaipo S (au) wrote: Wow Movie surprised me for sure, really liked and and would be cool if it had spun a series, like the whole idea and concept and characters

Erin D (us) wrote: ok but slow paced and it got boring. and do we really need that many montages? seriously?

Danny G (es) wrote: Honestly? The most inspiring movie I have seen all year. And I will rate this in the top 10 movies EVER I have seen. It is simply that good.

Isabella D (au) wrote: This actually ended up to be pretty darn good.

Charlie G (au) wrote: Decent acting on the entro. Mostly conversations for the first half hour. They get in this thing by breaking a code. Picking the lock. And venture through the insides of this thing.Middle of movie was kind of empty. The end reveals its based on a strong religious comparison with a scientific theme.

Luc L (mx) wrote: The story lagged that was quite unentertaining.

Brad M (fr) wrote: wicked like the first...

Jamileh M (us) wrote: Cute romantic movie. I like.

Farrah J (ag) wrote: I remember watching this with my grandma as a kid. I didn't understand a word and had to keep getting her to translate the plot, but as with most Bollywood movies, they are so colourful, dramatic and theatrical that sometimes just watching the screen can suffice.

John A (gb) wrote: Charlie dressed as a woman beating on anyone within five feet of him. Rinse. Repeat. You get the picture.

Lucas Augusto C (es) wrote: A wonderful masterpiece! Kiss of the Spider Woman tell us the sad reality of a South America prision. The film introduces the story of Luis Molina, a prisoner in a Brazilian prison cell dividing its with the activist Valentin Arregui. Luis was arrested for molesting a boy and Valentin for his involvement with Communists. Despite their differences, both learn to respect and living together as they attempt to survive the repression of society. The film is a true portrait of Brazilian society during the military dictatorship, and the repressions of society. Hctor Babenco brilliantly directs this drama about corruption, crime, homosexuality and society. The performances by William Hurt and Raul Julia are truly excellent and essential. A live screenplay by Leonard Schrader. A true work of art worthy of applause!

Tommy N (fr) wrote: The best acting in this comes from the guy who plays the monk. Wow. I mean just, wow.

Aaron S (us) wrote: I couldn't get past the horrendous acting in this movie to see if it got any better. 20 minutes in I gave up. I just couldn't take it anymore. Unwatchable!

Cameron T (gb) wrote: Do I even need to say anything? No. Good day.

Cynthia S (de) wrote: Excellent fact-based crime drama that avoids sensationalism for a more subtle approach, but retains the psychological darkness you'd expect from a serial killer movie. This movie proves life is stranger than fiction, and nothing beats a well made movie of a true horrendous crime. As a side note: I have read that these events helped abolish the death sentence in England. I can believe it, cuz a story likes this really makes you ponder this issue.
