Joseph C (ca) wrote: Jack Sholder's sci-fi-action hybrid was immensely entertaining. It has an energy and tempo about it that's very engrossing, as well as strong performances by Kyle MacLachlan and Michael Nouri. The concept is clever -- a criminal, alien parasite transfers itself from one host to another, each time wielding murder, destruction and the theft of several Porsches. The action, editing and music are all top-notch and contribute to an inevitable momentum and sense of danger -- all in all, a really fun and well made movie.

Sarah H (au) wrote: I'm not entirely sure why the sequel went back in time to where there were mammoths. It's kinda funny, surprisingly has some recognizable voices for a sequel.

David F (nl) wrote: Green Street Hooligans is one of those movies that you don't get excited by. The cast and story seems bland. After watching this movie I believe you will love it. It's a movie that catches you off guard and entertained.

Calum R (mx) wrote: Disney are primarily known for their animated films that are executed perfectly with your typical stories of love, friendship and redemption - however when the studio approached live-action films, whilst the majority of them (like Mary Poppins) did fantastically well, they weren't on par with the likes of their animated tales, that was until 'Pirates of the Caribbean' got released. Possibly one my favourite films of recent years, 'Pirates' is't your typical Disney kids movie, it mixes fantastic action scenes, rather terrifying horror and brilliantly-executed humour. The highlight of the film, well of the series in general, is Johnny Depp's Oscar-nominated performance as Captain Jack Sparrow, one of the finest film protagonists ever conceived. Accompanying the film is the epic scale cinematography and a completely heart-pounding and stunning film score from Klaus Badelt, one that Hans Zimmer built upon perfectly in the sequels to follow.

John S (mx) wrote: Gentle story of an aging man who tries to fight the county to build his own home before his wife with early Alzheimer's can no longer understand his efforts. James Cromwell has a bravura performance.

Brian C (fr) wrote: With the relationships and unraveling story line, there is lots to like, but it just doesn't gel together well
